Message from Pastor John:
Thank you, Bob, Dave, Doug, Kerri, and Bob’s friends, for a Christ-Centered time of worship on Sunday. It is always good to have back-ups when some of our normal praise team members are out of town. We are blessed to have a great Praise Team led by Jennifer Cathell! Each week, they lead us to the Throne of Grace!
We are 3 days away from one of our BIG EVENTS! Our Annual Easter Egg Hunt is on March 28th from 11 am to 1 pm. We will need help that day with the setup, cooking, and other things. Please see Jennifer Cathell or me if you are willing to help! This is a great way to be involved in the ministry here at White Oak!
Mission Offerings: Annie Armstrong Offering for North American Missions and Church Planting will take place in April. If you would like to give to this Mission offering, designate it by marking on an offering envelope. Mother’s Day Offering for the Tennessee Baptists will take place in May. This offering benefits the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home. If you would like to give to this Mission offering, designate it by marking on an offering envelope.
Church Event – Let’s go to the Ballpark together! Friday Night (May 15th), the Chattanooga Lookouts are hosting Family and Faith Night. If you and your family would like to go as part of a church group, please sign up in Fellowship Hall by April 1st. The tickets cost $20 per person.
Easter Invites – Make sure to get out the word for our Easter Season Services and Events! Make sure to pick up your Easter Invite Cards and hand them out to Family, Friends, Co-Workers, and Neighbors!
Our Easter Season Events:
March 28th – Annual Easter Egg Hunt (11 am to 1 pm)
March 29th – Worship Cantata at 10:45 am (Palm Sunday)
April 3rd – Good Friday Service at 6 pm
April 5th – Easter Worship Service at 10:45 am

Mission Fundraiser – If you like fishing and Missions, then you need to sign up for our Fishin’ for a Mission tournament/outing on April 4th! The sign-up sheet is in the Fellowship Hall on the table with the sign-up for the West Virginia Mission Trip in August. For more information about this event, see Kyle Lewis or Adam Higdon!
Student Ministry Announcement: Summer Camp will be July 5-9 at Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, TN. Parents of Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers, mark your calendars. Camp Sign–Up https://form.jotform.com/260825527397063
Mission Trip Announcement: Our Mission Team is planning a trip to West Virginia on August 8-13. Sign-up sheets and information forms are in the Fellowship Hall. The cost of the trip is $499. For more information, see Don Pickrell or Tiffany Higdon.
